World Heritage Sites are landmarks of great value to humanity due to the prevalence of culture they keep alive. The Taj Mahal, a wonder of the world, is a historically and artistically rich mausoleum located in Agra, India. The domes symbolize the soul rising up to paradise, since it was built in memorial of the Emperor’s wife at the time. The use of tan represents India’s deserts and the aqua shade emulates the reflecting pool. The arches incorporated in the logo stand for the curvature in the architecture of the building. This project provided insight on how to design a logo and keep the branding consistent with the values of the client.
